The goal of the project is to realize a general platform for rapid development of network applications on the family of COMBO cards. The proposed platform includes network interface blocks (1G/10Gbps Ethernet), high-speed programmable busmaster connection to the software layer via PCI-X or PCI Express bus and a generic interface to user network application accelerated core. The generic data transfer protocol between NetCOPE platform and accelerated core allows an easy integration into the target application.
