Introduction
The release notes for ids-1.1.1 package contain a summary of changes made since ids-1.0.0 package. It describes recently added, changed or removed tools of Traffic Scanner project.
What's new
ids-1.1.1 package brings ids-daemon, a daemon which controlls probe, and many minor software improvements.
Software
- ids-daemon - a daemon which repeatidly checks if Traffic Scanner probe is running correctly. If probe is detected beeing frozen, daemon restarts Traffic Scanner within seconds.

- kernel drivers improvements
- ids_lkm changed to idslkm
- ids script runs without root permissions
Upgrading from previous releases of Traffic Scanner package
If you are upgrading from a previous release of Traffic Scanner package please perform a complete reinstall. Read the README file for more information.
